Stop 1 · Cascais marina
We cast off as the marina wakes. Coffee in hand, you watch the city slip away — Cascais marina shrinks into a cluster of masts and the open Atlantic stretches before you. Light breakfast served onboard.
Stop 2 · Forte do Bugio
Forte de São Lourenço do Bugio has stood on its sandbank since the 1600s — a perfectly round fortress marking the river bar where the Atlantic meets Lisbon's estuary. We throttle down and circle it slow, so the light catches the stone and everyone gets the shot. Protected national monument.
Stop 3 · Costa da Caparica
Three hours on the empty Atlantic beaches of Costa da Caparica — cliffs of the Arrábida to the south, surf rolling onto kilometres of open sand. Anchor in the clear water, run the watersports off the back, or take a lesson on the break. This is the morning's playground.
Stop 4 · Praia da Foz
Anchor down at Foz for the heart of the day — a floating mesa farta. You choose your dishes now and the crew lays the table across the deck while you swim. Lunch runs for hours: plates keep coming, the water's right there, no rush. With a chef aboard the table goes from generous to spectacular.
Stop 5 · Sunset anchorage
We drop anchor off Cascais bay, by the Boca do Inferno, and let the day go quiet. Sun into the Serra da Arrábida, a glass in hand, the city lighting up behind. The dessert hour — and the last toast before we step ashore.
